feelings change all the time. we state how we feel at that exact moment in time.
the receiver of that message holds that in memory forever, never changing.
once it leaves your mouth, it can never be taken back.
even though it changes for you, it becomes permanent to them.
unless it changes for them too. the memory doesn't change, but it becomes a point of reference for future decisions and sometimes, motivation for change.
